Oddfellows Arms
The Oddfellows Arms is a three storey restaurant and bar in Mellor, near Marple, that dates back to 1700. The curious name derives from the Oddfellows Society (a precursor of the trade union movement) that used to meet in the bar in the 1860s. Today the Oddfellows has two floors serving a range of freshly prepared food. Recently purchased from 'pubco' the name may not have changed but the menu, food & style has.
