To celebrate our first birthday at The Pointing Dog, we are hosting a long weekend of great events over the August Bank Holiday!

On Wednesday 22 August, we will be hosting a pub quiz from 8pm. With top prizes and our famous 2 course menu, it's well worth entering!

Thursday 23 August sees our Gourmet Food and Wine Lovers Evening return with a delicious 6 course menu and wine for only £49 per person. Much like our past wine evenings, booking is essential.

Our big birthday bash is on Friday 24 August with live music from Leon from 9pm (with a late license!). With tickets for only £10 per person, we will be giving away freebies, party prizes, drinks promotion and even a late license!

On the Bank Holiday Monday (August 27) we will be hosting our Open Mic evening in association with Sounds Great from 1200 - 1700 and live music from 1700-1900!

Our patriotic friends at Sounds Great Music will be showcasing some of their extensive range of acoustic and electric guitars, pedals and effects, amps and keyboards and we are inviting local musicians to perform short sets live for friends and families who may join us at the Pointing Dog celebrations.
