Help using Onionring
Search tools - On the top right corner of the site you'll find our Quick Search tool. Enter the whole name or just a part of it to search on. For example to find details on the Hilal Indian Restaurant, Warrington search on just "Hil" and in your results you will find the Hilal, Warrington (along with the Hilton, Chilli Banana, and any other restaurant containing hil).
If you are searching for a specific restaurant by town, and the restaurant you are looking for does is not included amoungst your results, then it may be listed under a neighbouring town.
Onionring Maps - For a much quicker way to browse your area try using our Maps. Powered by google, the maps are fully interactive and allow you to select restaurants from a marker on the map.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you using 0871 numbers?
We are trialing them at present for 60 restaurants. Calling
the 0871 numbers costs the price of a local call (rate is about
10p a minute). Using these numbers allows us to tell the restaurants
how many people have called them from Onionring. Many restaurants
like to know can see the response the advert on onionring is
generating.
Why are no negative reviews posted?
Its very hard to maintain a fair reviews system as fake reviewers
or rival businesses could easily post negative reviews. We
had in the past shown all reviews, however we were threatened
with legal action for publishing bad reviews. We also had
hoax reviews sent in, restaurants have sent comments
about other restaurants, and there are issues with content
and spamming. Our decision to show only positive reviews was
based on all these factors.
Negative reviews are passed to the restaurants via email.
In many cases restaurants would offer compensation or would
change aspects of their restaurants on the back of these comments.
Please keep sending the bad along with the good.
