Richard Kenyon, Northwich m (22/11/2009)...What a great place! We had a fabulous evening enjoying the unique atmosphere at the Sandhurst Hotel. The food is superb, and very reasonably priced as others have said. The welcome was great too - we had so much fun with the owner & her staff. I wish we'd gone a long time ago!...

We went last November for our Wedding anniversary. We were greeted with a warm welcome from Rowena and her staff. They were very attentive and could not do enough for u. The meal was beautiful, all local bought and home made by Head Chef Neil. Price of food is very reasonable. We were not rushed and we had the table for the whole night not like other places where we have been and they cannot wait to get u out to give someone else your table. We enjoyed it so much that we have been back a number of occasions since, taking other friends and family members with us and we have already booked and looking forward to New Year. If the weather is nice then have a look at the gardens they are well established and a lot of hard work must go into keeping them nice. If I was to be looking for a wedding venue then this would be the place I would book. Go to their web site as they have special evenings every month, from century of dinning to Spanish nights. Well Done Rowena and her team of staff.

We booked the restaurant for my husbands 40th birthday. There were 10 of us in total and we had a fantastic time. The food was out of this world and really good value for money. The staff were lovely and could not do enough. We were a bit hesitant as we had not eaten there before but we will definitely be back as weill other members of our party.

This is a fabulous restaurant. We have been a couple of times now and both times we found the staff to be extremely friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and the food to be of a very high standard yet at a reasonable price. The menu caters for all tastes and there is a good vegetarian selection. The wine list also has some lovely choices on there. You have your table for the whole evening so you never feel rushed. This is the best restaurant in the area.

Traditional home cooked Sunday lunch- very tasty and good friendly service.

beaufitful surroudings, friendly and warm hospitality, made to feel like a friend rather than a paying customer. Delicious Food. Fully lives up to it's reputation as a hight class establishment. Truely a hidden gem in the crown of Cheshire

We visited Hudson's for our wedding anniversary on the 01/11/2007 and we were not disapointed.
What a fabulous find.Food and service excellent, even though the usual waitress had called in sick.
Huge portions of very well cooked and presented food.
You must try it, I promise you will not be disapointed, a restaurant in the true sense of the word.
Cant wait to go back.if I could criticise one thing it would be the paper napkins instead of linen. Just a little out of place with all the other fine attention to detail.

i visited this hotel/restaurant 3 months ago and i have got to say its one of the best places to eat in this region. we visited on a busy saturday night we were very mindful that we may not of got a table due to me and my wife not booking.but the very helpful owner rowena accompanied by the waitresses got us a table in a very good looking restaurant.the menu had a lot of choice both vegetarian and non vegetarian and the wine menu was very extensive aswell. we ate of the two to dine menu, i believe they should change its name to "two die for menu" due to the food being brilliant.the chefs have really set the standard.with all three courses starters/mains/sweets as good as each other. all in all a truely spectacular evening. thanks to the warm an welcoming owner and all the waitresses and the kitchen staff.

If you only eat out once this year, this has got to be one of the resturants at the top of you list to try. The food is exquisitly prepared with neither too big or too small portions, which for the price, is VERY reasonable The talented chef Neil, has been a class find for this establishment and complements the entire package that the Sandhurst hotel offers
