The Devonshire is a wonderful old town pub which was refurbished in June 2007 and now serves a large choice of home cooked foods, wines, beers and soft drinks.

We serve good quality local food which is cooked fresh to order. We have a fantastic carvery which is available 12pm-3pm and 5pm-8pm Mon - Thurs then 12pm-3pm and 5pm-9pm friday and saturday all priced at £5.50 (discount for gold card holders luchtime only). We also have a great choice of home cooked meals and steaks on our all day menu and specials board which is available 12pm-8pm mon - thurs and 12pm-9pm friday and saturday. The all day menu includes sandwhiches, jackets and vegetarian choices plus lots more.

We serve an excellent 3 meat carvery on a sunday from 12pm - 7pm. We also have a sunday lunch menu available.

To finish off your meal we have a fantastic selection of homemade desserts and a good choice hot drinks available.

The Devonshire has a bright spacious restaurant which can cater for large parties. It also has a separate television area with tables or a smaller 'snug' area with sofas for a more intimate chat and drink.

We also have a fantastic outdoor terrace with a heated smoking shelter which backs onto our car park. Our terrace is a great little sun trap and ideal place to come and have a drink and relax.

Our bar has a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. We also have 2 Real Ale's available and we were recently awarded with the Cask Marque Award for these which we are very proud of.
