My wife and I have just eaten at Bacchus and were totally impressed with the entire experience.
The dishes on the menu were thoughtfully chosen to appeal to every taste. The starters were a delight. We tried the lobster and crab on a bed of tasty rocket drizzled with a stunning dressing and also the smoked salmon accompanied with really tasty side bites.
The meal just kept on getting better when we were served our main courses. Choosing the lamb rump and the venison fillet was without question the right choice for us. Beautifully presented, with flavours that could only impress the most discerning of palettes, our meals were cooked to perfection.
We finished with the goat's cheese and the lemon creme brulee. Our curiosity got the better of us and we had to try the black treacle pudding. We were not to be disappointed. All the desserts were second to none.
The comprehensive wine list offered a great selection and we chose an excellent Rioja that went very well with all our courses.
With coffee and brandy to complete our evening and an attentive, but not fussy waiter service, we can only say we had a perfect dining experience and would highly recommend Bacchus for the place to enjoy fine cuisine.

Visited Bacchus in Prestbury on Friday evening (09/12/11) and had a fantastic evening. We had 3 courses from the a la carte menu which were freshly cooked and beautifully presented. The food was delicious and it was nice to see the restaurant source their supplies from local producers. The staff made us extremely welcome and were very efficient.
We will certainly return in the new year and would strongly recommend this restaurant to other onion ringers.
Thanks once again, Lesley

Excellent food - the oxtail soup was to die for!! Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Visited on the first Wednesday after opening so it was quite quiet but with food of the standard it won't stay that way for long.
