Just recently held 40th birthday party in Cafe Instanbul in their refurbished downstairs venue. Room has it's own bar which enabled guests to stay in the room and maintain that party atmosphere. As well as the venue room being very stylish and along with the table settings, this created a fantastic ambience for the evening. Every one of the 30 guests eating commented on how excellent the food and service was. I don't think anyone could find fault. Everyone was served within 5 minutes of confirming we we're ready to start. I would visit again just for the mezzi starter platter, the mixture of hot and cold starters was delicious. The main's we had chosen for the party we're well received by all guests and again, faultless. I would absolutely without doubt recommend this venue for any party, birthday, anniversary, etc or business party/gathering

I have recently eaten in Cafe Istanbul for lunchtime business meetings where the food, service and surroundings were excellent. Having had such an amazing experience I now use Cafe Istanbul for personal dinners. The menu is extensive with amzing choices cooked with the finest ingredients! The wine list is extensive and the staff are knowledgeable in their advice. No wonder this restaurant is longest running privately owned restaurant in Manchester!!! I can't reccomend this restaurant highly enough!!

The best Turkish food in the north of England for 30 years. Prefer new modern interior. Lively both lunchtimes and evening. Great lamb and seafood. Meze selection at lunchtime a winner. Been a regular since first opened - never disappointed.
