Their own carbonara pizzette is proving to be very popular; the cichetti is perfect for a snack at the bar with arancini, pancetta croquettes and crostini early hits. Classic tiramisu, limoncello cheesecake are all seriously good and their pear and frangipane tart with orange mascarpone and caramel is just as delicious.
The wine list has something for everyone ranging from £15.95 for the Italian house white (Sollazzo Bianco) to the outstanding Sansonina Merlot at £59.95 for those special occasions when only the best will do. There are also lesser known grape varieties such as Grillo (white) and Vermentino (white) listed that will challenge the fan of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
The first Campari bar in Liverpool will be a hit with the afterwork set, tempting Aperol Spritz, breakfast Negroni and Tocco Rossos sit well next to the imaginative Bellinis, Ginger Bellini.
