I called in for a bit of lunch...they were doing a midday special for around £5.50 or so.For that,I had a starter of chickensweetcorn soup,a main course of sweet and sour pork in light batter with fried rice,and a sweet of icecream.There were numerous other dishes available on the special midday deal.
I have to say that,not having visited the restaurant before,and,being the only customer in at the time,I ordered with some trepidation.
But,I can honestly say,this was the best sweet and sour pork dish I have ever tasted,and,the rice was fantastic.
The amount of food was also just right,and,i came way feeling full,but not stuffed.
Just before I left,2 other customers came in,and,started ordering from the main menu.
For a fiver,it was excellent proper Chinese tucker...the only extra I had to pay for was a glass of Cola which was very reasonably priced.
I think if you cut out either the starter or the dessert,you can have a drink included in the price.

Staff friendly,and,service very quick.

Will definitely recommend and will return soon!

i live in sale and go to silver seas about twice a month

it is THE best chinese i have ever tasted!! I recommend it to all my friends and loads of customers at my work if they are looking for a good meal.

The staff are greeat! always seem to remember their customers faces and they have good banter with us all.

The Crispy beef is out of this world!! :)

I wouldn't know what to do if silver seas ever closed down!

By far this Chinese restaurant has been the best I have ever been too, every couple of months me and my boyfriend travel from Crewe to Sale just to come here. The service is fantastic and the food is mouth watering. we have never had a bad meal yet and will continue to keep coming and recommending it to everyone.

Great! Brilliant staff, quick service, great food for a very affordable price! Perfect for a bite to eat on your way into sale at the weekend. i can highly recommend the steamed garlic prawns which never fail to impress me everytime! After eating here for over 5 years now with both family, friends and partner i will definately remain a regular!

Had our first date in there! Fantastic food and selection. Best chinese buffet too! The Mrs wil only go there as its the only place she likes the sweet and sour chicken! Service is great and would recommend to anyone.

Took our 3 year old neice last night and had a lovely meal. The restaurant was very clean and staff were attentive. We've not been for some time but will be returning. Food was very fresh and tasty. Only issue I would say is the restaurant could do with addressing the lighting, slightly too bright.

Had a family lunch today with our 9 month old, the staff were friendly & helpful providing a high chair for Morgan. The food was tasty, the deserts were delicious, lovely & fresh. At £5.50 per head, its well worth the money.

A group of 7 of us came down just after Christmas. Although we hadnt booked the staff quickly prepared a table for us and made us feel welcome.

We decided to share a crispy duck to start. It was delicious. I am a big fan of crispy duck pancakes, and these were anoumgst the best Ive had.

The mains were equally as good. We all left fully satisfied feeling that we had found a real gem of a restaurant, and it worked out at just £20 per head. Will definatly be returning!

Had the lunch buffet here. Only £5.50 and was overall pretty decent...missed the prawn toast and duck though! They have done the retsaurant up, and service was good.
