Via Roma Italian restaurant is located just set back from the main road, less than a mile from the the town centre of Sale.
The restaurant is under new ownership with a fresh approach, all dishes are cooked fresh and along side some Italian classics you'll find some of head chef's own fantastic creations - many can be see on the frequently changing specials board. Popular dishes being served are some of the classic Italian steaks like Filetto ai Gamberoni and a Trio of pasta, which is your choice (or the chefs if you prefer) of 3 different pasta dishes all served on a large plate - great for sharing!
The restaurant, located on the 1st floor is bright and modern, with some traditional features.
Via Roma is a place where you can enjoy yourself, have as much as you want at a reasonable price, a family- friendly environment and a delicious one!
There is a free car park at the front, takeaway is available as is delivery . All private functions are catered for, anything from Hen Nights, casual weddings, birthday parties and office Christmas parties and many more.

Via Roma has been a great experience! I celebrated my Birthday there and it was amazing. The food, words can not describe how delicous it was, absolutely mouth-watering. I loved the pizza Volcano something that i would recommend to pizza lovers! My family loved the pastas; Fettucine Alfredo and Tagliatelle. The staff were so friendly. Via Roma is a place that i will definitely re-visit in the future!!!!

I would recommend Via Roma very highly, it is the best Italian Restaurant i have ever been to.The food is superb and always piping hot.The Scallops & the Monkfish are just lovely.My family say its the best Lasagne & best cannoloni they have tasted.The staff are so nice & friendly , they make you feel very welcome.So if you want the best Italian meal ever go to Via Roma

Sorry, things have changed. New management, kids' toys removed, no offers mon - thurs, (fixed price menu weds) but food not as nice. Pity, really enjoyed it previously....

What a hidden treasure! The food is second to none and extremely reasonable. The chicken with spinach and dolcelatte cheese is a personal favourite. I don't think i've left the restaurant without having a drink on the house either, which is more than generous. Will definitely return in the near future.

The staff are excellent with our 2 year old. Toys to play with, fish tank to look at / feed the fish, colouring books and children's TV. Whilst that must sound like a nightmare for couples, we always go midweek and early evening so we don't ruin the atmosphere! Food is very good too, we have eaten there time and time again. Mid week deals good too and good price on house wine. PS: Looks appalling from the outside but you'll be pleasantly surprised when you get inside.

I went here for my 30th birthday. There was a total of 30 family and friends and all I can say is this resturant is the best. We let them know our guest menu choices few days before hand, they are very organised even doing name cards for the table. The service was excellent standard , especially with the amount of poeple all wanted there food at the same time. I was very impressed with all the staff that night and the atmostphere was also excellent. One of the waiters even had the 4 kids in our group up dancing at the end of the meal. I will definitely be returning asap and would reccommend to everyone I know. The food was really nice and very resonably priced. I'd like to thank all the staff and management at Roma for an excellent birthday meal and I'll be seing you soon but with a much smaller group lol

We had our wedding reception here, we took 35 guests,and the restaurant was very accommodating, we chose a buffet style Italian feast, loads of food, excellent quality, friendly staff, great surroundings, couldn't have asked for a better day. we go back here often, nearly every week actually, and it's the best in the area by far. two courses for £9.95 Sunday to Thursday is great value too.

Whilst nothing to write home about on the outside, Roma is definitely a real treasure on the inside! The staff were friendly, accommodating, and attentive; The food was gorgeous and prices reasonable. I couldn't have asked for a better place to go to for a dinner for two.

A party of six adults went to Roma last night to celebrate a birthday. The food was excellent, pasta cooked to perfection; light and tasty. The atmosphere was quiet (Thursday night)however the service was friendly, attentive but discreet. Will definitely be going there again!

Childrens menu very basic but ignored that and kids ordered from main menu and had smaller portions. Must better. Food all freshly prepared.
Just need a couple of nicer shop fronts nearby.

I had seen the restaurant advertised in their fabulous review in the Manchester evening news by Eamonn O'Neal about the warm service and high quality cuisine and they couldn't be more right. The food is of a quality far superior of other Italian restaurants in the area and is a little gem in the middle of south Manchester. The modest prices and mid week promotions make this a fabulous and great value for money night out!

we had a very nice meal ,but we ordered a bottle of house wine and got a bottle of linemans austrailian wine not good for a italian restaurant but the food was very very good

What a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and the service was superb. It has been very well designed in decor and has a relaxing, warm atmosphere. I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended. The meal deals are also a great bargain.
