Bowdens is a French Bistro housed in a 350 year old Grade 11 listed building full of warmth and character as soon as you walk through the door. A warm welcome will await you from Lyn or Dave or one of their fabulous team. The food is of a classic French taste with all fresh ingredients beautifully prepared by Dave, John and Darren a brigade with lots of experience and passion for you to enjoy (passion is optional).
Specials are changed regularly and seasonal produce used in all dishes. A lovely wine list compliments the dishes and the fabulous house wines chosen by Lyn and Dave starting at £15.95.
Tapas Balcony
Enter through Bowdens and you will find a hidden gem of Lymm. The balcony area has been transformed into a 25 seater Tapas, serving food and atmosphere to transport you back to Spain on a summers evening, you can almost see the fishing boats returning to Lymm.

We came to the tapas balcony at Bowdens as a group for a birthday celebration, based on the recommendations of the food. We ordered most of the dishes on the menu, and all without exception were delicious. Service was friendly, but let me say that the photo of the balcony doesn't do it justice - the atmosphere was great, really mediterranean in feel and the lights and candles made it cosy. Will be back!

My favourite restaurant by far around here. I took my boyfriend here in May for his birthday and it was all just perfect. I wish I'd gone again last night for my birthday but I decided against it due to the price being that little bit more expensive than the norm so we went elsewhere and it was just OK. It's worth paying the extra and the next time I have a special occasion I am there!!!
