Absolutely LOVE this place! I'm not local to Altrincham but I try to go as much as I can.. fresh food.. great flavours and friendly staff!
Steve, Altrincham
Been here many times and always enjoy it everytime. As the other comments say the staff are fantastic they are very welcoming, friendly and attentive thoughtout the evening. The food and drink is all of an exceptional quality. I have tried different things each time and all have been fantastic, especially the Japanese eel! They also offer a take away service
Muhanned Manchester
This restaurant is my favorite! Ive been in Manchester for just over a year now and i absolutely recommend it to everyone. Its owned by a family who work there, and they really try their best to satisfy the customer. The sushi is very good, and clearly fresh. Ill be going there soon again

Always receive the best food and service would recommend highly whether a fan of Japanese or Korean food or for a First timer. Staff will more than guide you to a great meal and lovely evening!!!

I have been to oriental fire many times with friends and have always had an amazing experience. The welcome and service from the staff is always lovely and you never feel like you're being ignored. My favourite dish is dakangjung which I have nearly every time I go! I would also recommend the tempura, dumpling soup, bibimbab and rice - the japanese rice is served just perfect! I will definitely be going soon.

Had an amazing meal last night. Can recommend the Korean menu. Very attentive staff.

We have been many times to Oriental Fire and each time have enjoyed the experience. Hong and his lovely staff accommodate any needs customers have and serve us quickly, efficiently and warmly.
The food is wonderful, and there are a range of different dishes, from mild to hot, to suit everybody's tastes. Also, they open on Friday lunchtime where they serve a discounted full lunch, very good value for money! Thanks to this restaurant, locals have a chance to try Korean and Japanese food in a friendly atmosphere with English translation and the owner's recommendations. Leigh.

We have had our company Christmas meal and birthday meals here. The staff and food are fantastic and more people should visit to explore what these two Korean chefs can offer.
Donna, Bowdon
This restaurant is fantastic. The food is so fresh and healthy. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend. Make sure you try the chicken bugogi (spicy)...enjoy.

I lived in Tokyo for two years and this is the best Japanese you will get outside of London in the UK. Sushi and sashimi is great but the real strength of oriental fire is the authentic methods and dishes you will find in Japanese high street restaurants (e.g. ishiyaki - the stone brought to table etc) . Great service and a friendly family atmosphere. Perfect for large groups.

Literally one word: wow. I recently read a review which constantly criticised this family-run restaurant, but I had also read very good reviews in the past; so I was very eager to come to my own judgement. I was more than pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by the very friendly waitresses, and taken to my table. They offered advice -which I took- and I started my delicious experience.
The sweet potato tempura is exquisite, and the same goes for the spicy vegetable soup. For mains I had chicken bulgogee (no idea how to spell it) which was on a hot rock thing, and it sizzled enticingly. I loved how I was filled up by this healthy meal, but I still had dessert! Green tea ice cream was both refreshing and delightful.
Highly recommend this restaurant for both its unquestionably good service and the scrumptious food.
Jane, Altrincham
Definately one of my favourite restaurants in the area. The food is exquisite, especially the Korean Dolsot (Bibimbap). The service is excellent. I would reccommend visiting this restaurant to anyone, you will not be disappointed!

I went for a meal out with a few of my friends, and it was by the one of the nicest restaurants I've been to. The food was absolutely mouthwatering. I highly recommend this exquisite restaurant to people who like to try out new things and trust me, you will not be disappointed! Both start to finish, I enjoyed everything. I loved the presentation of the dishes, the service was v. friendly and it was very good value! I will definitely be going soon!

Having tasted both Japanese and Korean food before I was keen to try Oriental Fire. I was recommended by one of my friends. When I went I was not disappointed. Good Value. Beautiful Presentation. Excellent Service. I would definitely go again. If anyone wants to try something new I would recommend Oriental Fire, it was the best Japanese/Korean food i tasted. Lovely atmosphere even though it was in the afternoon I am keen to try it in the evening as well.

Wow! Fancy a small intimate restaurant with amazing food and brilliant attentive service? Then head to Oriental Fire. It was very quiet on Saturday night when we arrived, in fact we were the only ones there, which was a bit worrying - but once we realised that England were playing in the rugby and football we felt more reassured.
Presentation was excellent, service brilliant, food mouth-watering. The Tempura was the best I've had. And definitely go for the marshmallow and hot chocolate sauce for dessert. Our party of four had three courses and beer, sake and wine for about £100. Excellent value and highly recommended.

A friend had been before and recommended it, I had a look on Onionring before and there wasn't much info but we gave it a go anyway. Restaurant was very quite but it was late on a Sunday. Service and food both excellent, 2 of us had the banquet - the starters were fantastic, pork main was cooked with the fat on which we would have prefered without but overall really good. Would look better if it had some nice shots on the site as the restaurant looks great.

The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and we were very satisfied by the food and excellent service. The menu is very different to any other restaurant and interesting combination of Japanese and Korean dishes. The presentation of food was the best experience through the night. Well recommended & we will be back
Dave, Altrincham
Have eaten a lot in Japan and Korea, and this is authentic, well cooked and reasonably priced food. The staff are friendly and attentive. Would recommend the don-katsu and Bibimbap definitively, but most of the food is really good.....

Amazing! I went on Friday and although it was very busy they paid a lot of attention to everybody, helpig and serving food. Staff were very professional and friendly, they were always smiling! They were absolutly great!
You have to try the meat on the black stone! It's very nice to try something original instead of those everyday foods.
I was also suprised at the prices too, at so little prices how could they make profits?
I think that this is one of the restaurants out of very little who actually puts the customer in front of money. If you'd like to go to somewhere different and beautiful, try here! You'll have a meal to remember for ever! It's really that great!

We have visited this restaurant on 4 occasions with friends. The food is amazing, an extremely extensive menu and the staff are so friendly and helpful and only too keen to recommend dishes to try. The raw fish is top class and so fresh and the hot rock dishes delicious. The second best thing about this restaurant after the quality of the food is the value for money, we are always pleasantly surprised at the bill. We don't know how they do it for the money. The only slight criticism is the vetilation doesn't seem to cope too well if a lot of people have hot rocks, it can get rather smokey, but despite that it doesn't put us off going.

Fantastic. Great food, great place and great service. I was given some good advice on how to eat the food in the proper way and it made a real difference.
Well worth a visit

Excellent food, in fact the most authentic korean food in the Manchester area. Some dishes are spicy, and the steel chopsticks are tricky to use, but everything is fresh and tasty. The korean pancake and plum wine were amazing, and so was the service. They told me the chef is the owner, and that is always a good sign! Try the chicken served on a hot black stone, and if you feel adventurous order a traditional korean dessert.
Daniel
Nice looking place, the food was very good, especially the beef served on a sizzling hot stone. Great change from the usual.
Barnali, Altrincham
Visited on a friday night, i would recommend this restaurant/takeaway to anyone! Food was gorgeous, they have an excellent range of both korean and japanese and the two people accompanying me tried sushi for the first time and loved it. Atmosphere was relaxed and staff are more than welcoming. Don't be afraid to ask what items are as the staff are quite knowledgeable. Very professional, very nice.
Vikki
I loved it there. Such great value for the food. The taste of the food was so great, different from chinese and tahi food for once. Traditional Japanese and Korean cooking is the one for me now.Delicious food served by efficient, friendly staff in elegant surroundings.
Table reservations were available. Go and see for yourselves. You will love the food and the atmosphere. Enjoy the food and the surroundings. You will love it! I loved it! I know I will be going again.
