I booked this restaurant for my husband's 60th birthday, we had not been before but I was impressed by the reviews. We weren't disappointed. On entering the restaurant we were greeted by friendly, smiling staff and directed to the bar area. We chose from the Friday evening menu, and enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant whilst waiting for the table. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was attentive but unobtrusive. There was no pressure to take wine, or order extras. The staff seemed genuinely happy to serve us exactly what we required. It was a lovely evening, and we drove away happy to return at some future date.

Had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant on Saturday and cannot fault it. The food was just delicious, the ambiance fantastic and the decor just lovely. It was a little piece of heaven and I have never been so relaxed in a restaurant... we sat back and enjoyed the evening - relaxing and not having to shout to make yourselves heard. The waitresses were attentive but not intrusive. Can't say anymore really. 3 courses £29.95 Well worth it.

Perfection! Couldn't find fault with anything and that's very unusual. I think this is the first restaurant where I haven't had to send my steak back as it was cooked exactly as I asked. My mouth is watering thinking about it. Restaurant was quiet for a Friday night, maybe people just haven't heard about how good the food is and NOT overpriced either. I will certainly be returning. Staff were attentive but not in your face.

Had another superb meal here. The food was cooked to perfection - I had steak and my partner had lamb. The staff were attentive, friendly and extremely professional. Will always enjoy returning to this restaurant as long as the service and food is this good!!! Excellent quality food priced at £29.95 for three courses. You certainly get what you pay for.

I visited here a few weeks ago, and i have to say it was absolutely lovely. I went with an old friend who came over from the united states, Barbara, and she was thoroughly impressed. I was proud to show her that an English restaurant had so much class and with such delicious food. I'll definitely be going back for more lunches with friends!

i visited the yellow broom yesterday for lunch with 3 girlfriends and had a wonderful time we all appreciated the friendly service which makes a change for a high class restaurant to put one at ease the moment one walks through tHe door. The food was delicious and the environment was perfect for a light lunch and relaxing environment good for a chat, as well as this the food was mouth watering. Definitely going back again!

Lovely location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Not cheap but could not fault the food and the presentation. If you want a really special evening out this just might fit the bill.

This is an excellent restaurant. The food was perfect - I had a superb steak - and the service good. Maybe just a bit pricey for those not in the Cheshire set !
