The Slow Boat has established itself for fantastic spicy food from around South East Asia, including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore.

As a Chinese Malaysian, we have indulges ourselves with a large number of original and unique dishes created from our cross-cultural kitchen, borrowing between traditional Malays, Chinese and Indian.

With remarkable varieties of cooking style and the usage of fresh ingredients - just two of the fascinating elements involved in the creation of our dishes - we ensure the best of our cooking is presented for you to enjoy.

The menu we have created has a selection of dishes that offer you the opportunity to taste a wide variety of Oriental styles of cooking.

Brilliant restaurant, I've been going for years and apart from having to wait a bit longer on mothers day when it was chocker block I couldn't fault it. The range of food is great, pretty much any meat with any sauce is available on the all you can eat BANQUET. It's a bit more expensive on Friday and Saturday night rather than a Sunday but the presentation is better and it's worth it for the all you can eat Peking Duck! No other restaurant has all you can eat duck that is cooked fresh! Staff are friendly, prices are decent, the restaurant is clean and tidy. There is a restaurant a few doors down that does a Chinese BUFFET for £6.99 but the food is limited to choice, is overcooked and and most of the sauces seem based on the same thing. It really doesn't compare to the Slow Boat where it is cooked FRESH to order.

Been going to this restaurant for years and i have never been disappointed. You have to try the Sunday buffet which is to die for!! Great value and so much. Everything is cooked as you order no sitting in trays and getting cold or over cooked. Love it
