I have eaten here twice now with a good friend, last night being the most recent visit. Each time we have visited Paul has been very polite, warming and attentive. The waitress (I'm sorry I don't know your name) is also very polite and cheerful. The food is amazing, choosing what to eat each time is a struggle as the menu and the food is excellent.
Top marks to the Owner, Chef and Staff.
I have been telling everyone about this gorgeous place & I can't wait to go back - See you soon!

First visit in July 2012, the venue is well fitted, the staff are friendly the quality of food and presentation easily rival any high end city centre restaurant yet at a fraction of the price. Absolutely perfect evening from start to end. Many thanks

We have eaten at Duck Egg Bluu on several occasions. The food is fantastic, never had a bad meal there. Paul the owner is a great host & all the staff friendly & helpful. It's a lovely place to go either for an intimate dinner for two or a family occasion. We booked our Silver Wedding party there in April, & everything was perfect. Paul planned the whole event even down to the last detail which took all the stress away, all we had to do was turn up !!! It is definitely our favourite place to go & I would certainly recommend a visit here. You will not be disappointed.

What a great meal. I started by having the scallops, and my partner had the pate. Both were superb, the scallops were cooked to perfection, and the black pudding that they were served with complimented the taste superbly. The pate was equally as good and tasty, and a really good selection too, with a balsamic dip that was to die for!
The Mains were certainly not a let down. My partner had the duck, which can be a risk when eating out, must not here. The duck meat was cooked perfectly to the way she asked, and the meat was smooth, tasty and juicy. Plenty of sauce on the plate to mop up every morsel! I tried the monkfish, and again, it was cooked perfectly, not dry like monkfish can get, and the potato it was served with was fantastic.
We didn't have a pudding, as neither of us had room, but I had a double espresso, and as a coffee snob, I have to say it was a very well prepared coffee, and the little dark chocolate cubes that it comes with really do suit the coffee.
All in all, 10/10 from me, and I'll definitely be going back, eager to try more.
Many thanks!

Have been to Duckegg on several occasions and the food and service has always been excellent. Paul the owner is fantastic and and cannot do enough for you. The themed nights are well worth going to. Highly recommended.

I have now eaten at duckegg bluu twice. Each occasion the food, service and whole experience was outstanding. When you dine at duckegg bluu you are treated like a true friend with an attentive but relaxed service from Paul and his fantastic team of waitresses. Food was excellent and a very varied choice on the menu. Struggled to chose my meal on both occasions. I would recommend taking a look at the specials which reflect fresh, Market Flavours. You will not feel pressured at all, but relaxed and like you are 'at home!'
My friends and I would recommend the duckegg bluu to anyone.
wilmslow
I visited Duckegg Bluu last week on recommendation. Bit of a trek from Wilmslow but I have been known to travel further for good food! Well - I have to say it was the best meal I've had in a good few months! Really relaxed place and quite informal, very friendly staff and casual but professional service. All the good things! The menu was excellent and I had trouble choosing... probably could have eaten and enjoyed the entire menu. The decor and ambience were perfect and we found the whole evening just completely relaxing, friendly and filling. This is what all good restaurants should be like, so well done to Paul and his team! First class in all departments! We will be back and will spread the word!
fiona and family
Had an excellent meal and evening - food was delicious well presented and quick service, we were fortunate to have gone on a Thursday and got a free bottle of wine per couple and it wasn't just cheap plonk either! Lovely chunky chips

I visited for the first time on a sat night with 5 friends. I had heard some bad reviews from friends but dismissed them as nonsense as the reviews on Onionring were very good (and they have always been accurate). Anyway, the food was very good, the portions were great (if not a little too big) and the price and service was excellent. All of us praised the place and would definitely go back. Duck Egg Blue has just made my top 3 in Warrington!! (White Apron, La Boheme, Duck Egg Bluu) Enjoy!!!

Its a rare pleasure to find a restaurant that gets the balance between relaxed eating thats not intrusive or slow right, the duckegg bluu team get it not just right but spot on. While that's impressive whats even more impressive is the food which is exceptional by any measure - great job!

We had a gorgeous meal, lamb tagine and a perfectly cooked steak. We were treated like royalty by Paul! We are definitely going back.

We visited for a retirement party from work. Both the food and atmosphere were excellent. I had steak and it was the nicest that I had had in a long time. The wines were lovely as well. The service was friendly and nothing was rushed. A very enjoyable evening.

Held my 60th Birthday Party here. Food excellent, service spot on - couldn't have asked for anything better.
Alison, Lowton
My boyfriend and I went for a meal for a joint birthday celebration and we loved it. Although there was a Christmas menu, there was a good choice of "unChristmasy" food which was very tasty and we didn't have to wait long. The staff were very friendly, everything was of a high standard and there was a good atmosphere. We were very impressed and would go back again.

Visited on 08/06. Booked for 8.15 but got there about 7.45. Were invited to have a drink outside first. Starters were very nice, mains were good, Nice steaks. I looked about and all the dishes being served up all looked very good indeed. Very friendly place. Nice staff. Realy enjoyable evening.

Went to Duckegg Blu for a business lunch a couple of weeks back. It's a really nice restaurant, very relaxed and spacious. The food is fantastic, as was the service and attitude of the staff. Will definitely be paying another visit or three.

Have visited this restaurant on several occasions and have found both the service and food second to none. This restaurant is as good, if not better, than many of the city centre restaurants we have visited in Manchester. Paul, the owner, is an excellent host, and will spend time talking through the menu. The food and presentation are superb with a great area pre dinner drinks and for relaxing with a coffee after your meal.
We found the early evening special to be particularly good value.
Have recommended to a number of friends who are also as equally impressed.
Lucky to have such a great restaurant on our doorstep!!
