Welcome to Hickory's Smokehouse, Chester's authentic American BBQ. Here you can enjoy a traditional style of cooking that has its roots in the U.S, but we think it deserves to be just as popular over here.
Inside you'll find red leather banquettes, individual booths with their own double doors onto the terrace overlooking the river, and a chef's bar where you can see your food being cooked on the Yankee BBQ in front of you.
Our menu offers two styles of BBQ. The southern style 'Smoker' BBQ uses slow, wood-fired cooking in our specially designed smoker over. The northern style 'Yankee' BBQ is cooked over sizzling hot coals. Both styles create unbelievably tender, delicious meat and fish.

I had the XXXL Burger and was amazed by the size of the burger to begin! And the flavours were outstanding!! I would definitely recommend Hickory's to anyone!

14 of us ate here on Bank Holiday Sunday. Despite us changing table number and some people only having starters etc, the service was outstanding. How they didn't lose their temper with us, I'll never know. Food beautiful. I had Clam Chowder to start & half rack of dry rubbed ribs for main. Sat outside under the heaters after the meal. All in all, a great evening. We'll definitely return. Thanks!
