A great place to eat early evening before going to the cinema, February's menu was fantastic. The 3 courses and half a bottle of wine offer is exceptional value for money. Pity it is only open 3 times a week!

Brilliant, just brilliant evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Gorgeous food, a very thoughtful and inspiring menu, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere.

Wonderful food. Truly some of the best food in Cheshire, let alone Marple. Superb service - Lucy is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, and so nice that we would like to adopt her!! Our favourite restaurant in the UK!

Popped in at lunchtime and was truely amazed that I would find a gem such as this in Marple. Beautifully made sandwich of delicious bread blue cheese & grape. Lovely side salad and a nice cup of coffee. will certainly return for something a little more adventurous.

you can trust everything for its ethics and that it'll taste good! the coffee is really top quality, the fantastic british cheeses and great pates including great veggy ones. and the luxury hot chocolate and the now famous guiness cake mmmmmmmmmmm!
And its decor is really lovely -small but perfectly formed!

Brilliant organic food, relaxed and cosy atmosphere, great deli counter/shop too. The staff are really friendly and Margaret the owner is well informed on all her products and remembers customer's preferences. Caters for all from carnivores to vegans. Very child friendly too with high chairs and baby change facilities.

I've been to Toast many times now, for coffee, lunch and afternoon tea. The food is all excellent, particularly the new range of pate. The organic wines and beers are super. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. All this AND ethical food too! Everything is organically grown, fair trade or local so you can eat out with a conscience.
