Fantastic location, very mediteranean in ambience, decor etc - faultless. Staff very attentive, polite and courteuos. Sunday carvery - very average (had better in local pub) and somewhat disappointing that there wasn;t a more 'homemade' feel about it. But £14.95 can't complain!

8 of us went on Sunday for a birthday meal. 4 course carvery was £14.95. Soup was delicious, then a self serve salad. Carvery was to die for, as were the sweets - banoffee cheesecake was a winner. Would definitely return soon!

Totally addicted to their Sunday carvery. Can't think of a better way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon than soaking up Sheldrakes warm atmosphere and 'over' indulging in their delicious cuisine whilst gazing out over the magnificent view. We hung around just long enough to watch the sunset. Wow! Always guaranteed to be memorable.

We have been there for our anniversary and that was really fantastic. It was like stepping into a restaurant in a mediterranean coast with fabulous food with first class service. The wine and the desert menu was first class too. Thanks for all. A definitely must see.

Wonderful!!! The sun was shining, the view was breathtaking, the staff were very friendly and accomodating (but not obtrusive) and the menu was refreshingly (and deliciously) different from the norm. All in all, a very pleasant (and relaxing) experience. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.
