Last night May 6th 2011 we celebrated our GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY with our family at the Massala Lounge Sale.
The food was excellent, beautifully presented and served. We were given a room to ourselves which supplied the atmosphere needed for such an occasion. Well done to to all the staff and a special mention to Amir who looked after us all night. Thank you for making our anniversary such a memorable one

Having seen this restaurant on Onionring with many good reviews, I thought I would pop in for the early diner meal. Great portions at a low price and was very busy too. Certainly will be returning!

Rob, Wirral

Been to this restaurant on two occasions now and both times the food and service has been excellent, the waiters are attentive and the food is always served hot and flavoursome. Alcoholic drinks are pricey though!

Delicious food, good service.
One of the best Indian restaurants I've found in Cheshire.
Try it! you won't be disappointed

I must say the food and the service was excellent. we all ordered different dishes I ordered the thursday night special "Handi Gosht"which is exactly as we would have it in india, food standard is very very good in comparison with other indian restaurants in this area.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thank you MASSALA LOUNGE

Having just moved into Sale, my first visit to a local restaurant was to the Massala lounge. I must congratulate them on making us feel very welcome and the food was excellent. I can highly recommend the Lamb Bhuna and the Chicken Rogan Josh. The Peshwari Naan was to die for. Thank you and see you again very soon

I had my anniversary party at the "Massala Lounge Function Room" last Thursday. I was very pleased with the quality of food and service, the venue is very discreet also has a separate bar. Which has given us the privacy we wanted. Thank you Massala Lounge. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Five members of Trafford Gourmet club visited the Masala Lounge on Thursday evening. Having eaten there previously last November we decided to see if they were still maintaining the high standard they set. We were not disappointed! The food and service was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment. Thank you Masala Lounge for a lovely evening!

When it comes to Sunday roasts my favourite is Lamb with mint sauce, so having spotted this same combination in one of the Massala Lounge's specials there was only one thing I wanted to order. The blend of flavours was subtle and the meat lovely and soft. I think everyone should try the Massala Lounge's Lamb Podina before they die - simply amazing!

modern decor, traditional cooking methods are true for this restaurant, reasonably priced menu with early bird offers. excellent food and service, an indian restaurant worth a visit.

Seven members of Cheshire Curry Club visited the Masala Lounge at 7.30pm on Thursday 1st November. The place was packed but fortunately we had booked! We ordered mixed starters for seven and then had seven different main course dishes. All the food was of a very high standard. We had lamb, chicken, prawn and a fish dish and we polished off the lot! The decor is fitted out to a very high standard and the waiter who served us was very helpful and knowledgeable even though he was extremely busy. Overall we rated the restaurant 8 1/2 out of 10. Our only criticism was that the service was rather slow after the starters but we put that down to the sheer number of customers eating there. Incidentally we finished at 10.30pm and there were still parties coming in to eat! All in all a thouroughly enjoyable evening in a Top Notch Restaurant. Well done to the Masala Lounge!

Having tried some of the best restaurants in the country including the verawshawmys, soho spice,in London, not forgetting the curry houses of the curry mile, I was very much immpressed by the quality of food and service @ MASSALA LOUNGE IN SCHOOL ROAD, SALE, NEAR THE METRO STATION it is a contemporary indian restrant with modern decor. I had the nawabi lamb which is served in a hot sizzler it was fantastic the quality of lamb, rice and the nan bread was fab. price is very reasonable, I highly reccommend the experianced curry lovers to try this place out.

Colin, Sale

Have eaten twice at massala lounge now once with party of ten and once just four, food and service perfect, one of best curry's i have eaten, will be back soon

Rachel, Manchester

went to the sunday buffet today - only £8 for popadums, starters and then choice of mail meals from the buffet. It was delicious and the service was excellent. The place looks really clean too.

We are a party of ten or so who eat out about once a month. This is our first review, but we're going to try to make it a regular event.

Having been customers of the Sajan take away for a number of years, we were keen to see if they could pull off the 'sit-down' version. Andboy, can they!

The restaurant itself is very contemporary and well thought out and, for a relatively new business, the atmosphere was great. Service was fast and friendly without being over powering. And the food...

We thought the take away was good, but the Massale Lounge takes it to another level. Everyone had something different, and everyone enjoyed their meal (the only bad comment was that the taka dhal was a bit watery - but even then, the flavour was great).

Prices are very reasonable, including the drinks.

If you like Indian cuisine you will love the Massala Lounge.

Nick

Dined here on Sunday after many recommendations from friends. Normally a bit weary about trying a new restaurant until they have been open a while and have ironed out any problems.

So I was stunned to find that every aspect of our meal here was top notch. The service was quick and friendly, the atmosphere is vibrant yet comfortable, and the food, well I wouldnt be wrong in saying its one of the best in the North West! Would recommend highly recommend.
