Number 39 Northgate Street, Chester has been the site of a coaching inn since at least the seventeenth century. The building was stunningly refurbished in 2007 to create a beautiful restaurant and bar serving delicious, home cooked traditional British cuisine using the finest local ingredients.

Whether you want a quick bite to eat, or a full 3 course dinner, we are sure that you will find what you are looking for at The Coach House.

In addition to our spectacular menu, The Coach House has an extensive wine list featuring over 40 wines and champagnes from around the world. Our bar is stocked with a variety of beers, including a selection of regularly changing guest ales; many from local breweries.

New menu is fantastic, lovely fresh food - great British dishes, could have picked 5 things off the dessert menu. All courses really well presented and served with a smile - what more could you want!
