My husband and I last November 2010 had a reunion with my family, going back to North Wales for a day out, we came upon the Druids Inn we decided to go in for a meal, so glad we did as the staff where very friendly and the food was excelant the big open fire made you not want to move I could have stayed there all day, we are going back this month with my two friends then in March we are planning our anniversary to go there for a meal, my brother and his wife took photos back to America and said if anyone wants a meal this the place to go when you pay a visit to Wales, looking forward on our return in this month....

After hearing on the grape vine that the Druid had a very good steak offer on we decided to give it a go. Little did we know that the offer was only meant to be on for January, luckily though this offer has been extended for Feb as well. There was so much choice, from fillet to rump and all at exceptional prices. We were not dissapointed either, they were to die for. The service to was not a dissapointment, all the girls working were friendly and attentive. It was a breath of fresh air to go somewhere where it feels the staff actually want to be there, making us want to stay and chat with them all evening! We shall definitely be back to sample their new a la carte menu, from a glance lots on offer! We look forward to visiting again soon.

We came last night, after hearing that there was a new chef at The Druid. The food was absolutely delicious. We were not dissapointed at all, the chef even came out to say hello and make sure that all was ok! One thing is for certain we will definitely be returning!

My wife an I visited the Druid Inn 5 Sundays ago. We had a fantastic roast dinner followed by home made apple crumble and custard. It was a very enjoyable experience all round. I even recommended it to my colleagues.
We stopped at the Druid Inn once again last Sunday (5/12/2010) and had a totally different experience. We were both very suprised at the difference. Once again we ordered roast dinners but the change was remarkable. The food was completely different in appearance, taste and presentation. We had to help ourselves to vegetables out of a separate 'desert' bowl! We were both extremely disappointed.
I am dumbfounded by the change, its a real shame. My wife an I really hope they were just having an 'off' day.

What a difference a wood burning stove makes. Two lovely big log burners making the place feel snug and comforting. Brilliant staff, so friendly and welcoming whilst having a laugh with each other on the job, making you feel like you have been a regular for years. Food was to die for, will be back as were told by a waitress their new menu kicks of this week. Highly recommend to all from families to couples to get togethers, something to suit all.

My wife and I have visited 3 times in the past 2 months and have thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However, my colleague informs me that the chef (from the Italian Night) has recently left so will just have to see how the new one compares on our next visit.

Decided to take a punt on their Italian evening after seeing it advertised on their website. An absolute cracker of a night. Food was delicious and atmosphere was just great. Brilliant value for money and so great that staff were friendly and seemed to be enjoying their work. Will definitely be back to sample their Christmas fayre menu.

Have often driven past but never stopped. Dropped in last week though and after a cracking afternoon decided to book again for today. So glad. Sitting next to the open fire, great food and wine, could have spent all day here. Staff were also friendly and took time out to chat to us. Will definitely be back!
What a great find! Stopped on the way back from a weekend in after spotting a packed car park! I can see why! Friendly staff, great meal- reasonably priced. Although only 1 cask ale on offer, hit the spot. Great ale, great food, log fires, what more could a person want!

Came here last night and had a fabulous meal. Warm cosy surroundings, open fires, fantastic real home made cooking. Staff friendly and helpful. A really great evening, we will be back soon!

my husband myself and my two children stumbled across this inn on a day out in wales - we were going to the clywd gate but there was a wait for tables and it was over priced. Just a couple of hundred yards up the hill with just as nice a view is the Druids inn were we received a warm welcome. We all had a lovely meal well presented and you could tell care had been taken to make it with fresh home cooked ingredients well presented and fairly priced. We tried lasagna, spaghetti bolognese, a club sandwich and an oriental platter between us- all tasted lovely and the desserts did not disappoint either. My husband said its worth driving back for another club sandwich it was to die for - a nice gem of a place that we will return to.
