Just wanted to contact you following my visit to Gusto Liverpool last weekend. Dining out with children can be a nightmare but your fantastic staff made it so much easier. They were extremely attentive, friendly and very welcoming to the children . Our table was perfect and the food excellent - a ten out of ten experience, will definitely be back for a return visit when we come to visit Liverpool and will recommend to others. Thank you.

I would like to pass on my compliments. We recently ate at Gusto Albert Dock and I have to say it was a fantastic night. It was extremely busy (totally understandable on a night in Liverpool during December) and we received the best service out of all the restaurants we have been to in the city. We work not too far from the city centre so often take our staff (usually 15-20 people) out each month. We will certainly make gusto our number one choice in future. The quality & quantity of the food was exceptional & the staff we incredible. Very attentive and again although it was very busy, we didn't have to ask for more drinks or chase anything up. Any request was dealt with swiftly & efficiently. I do not think staff get enough praise, and working in customer service I know how hard it is to please everyone. Fantastic experince. We had booked alma da cuba, but there was a problem with the booking, anyway got the Onionring App out and found Gusto, it was fantastic, fitted us even through there was 10 of us, made to feel very welcome, really lovely waiter - had us laughing all night. Great food aswell. Top place

I came to Gusto with my girlfriend last Sunday evening for a nice meal out and to see the live entertainment. We didn't book and there was no wait for a table! The lovely hostess greeted us and immediately asked if we had come for a quiet meal or if we were here to see the band. As we were the latter, she promptly seated us in the main section of the restaurant with a close, clear view of the jazz band. Our waiter, Ryan was extremely friendly and made our night very enjoyable. We ordered the selection of Italian breads and the Fritto Misto (seafood selection cooked in batter) to share. The bread was warm and very tasty and the seafood was delicious - came after 5mins of ordering! For our main meals we both had the rib-eye steak with asparagus, parmesan and truffle oil. I am usually wary of ordering steak in restaurants as it never seems to arrive cooked the way I have asked, however I ordered my steak as medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. I also wasn't keen on the idea of truffle oil and Ryan very kindly suggested that I have it in a side dish so I can try if I want to - very accommodating and helpful!
The band started halway through our mains - around 8ish, perfect timing as we wanted to have a nice chat beforehand as well. Sometimes live music in a restaurant can be overbearing but this band was perfect for the surroundings, not too loud and the type of music (jazz/swing) was lovely. Near to us was a large party of diners who created an amazing atmosphere along with the band.
Overall I was extremely impressed with this restaurant, my girlfriend had reccommended it and I will be as well from now on. The staff are incredibly attentive and professional, it is clear to see that they love their job! After we had paid for the bill - a reasonable £55 with wine included, we listened to the rest of the band's set whilst relaxing in the bar area, filled with comfy chairs and booths.
An excellend Italian restaurant!!!!

I visted Gusto on the Albert Dock in Liverpool over the weekend and I really enjoyed my experience on the Saturday evening which we were booked in! The atmosphere was amazing as the restaurant was booming! We were served by Stephen and he really did make our evening...Very comical indeed! The food was wonderful and the cocktails were sensational. A fantastic restaurant in a great location! We will definitely go again!

Last Thurs 8th April myself, girlfriend and her daughters had lunch, Garlic bread starter, girls had pizzas, G/f had penne with salmon, I had meatballs with spaghetti - all were first class. Service prompt and friendly by blonde Scouse girl in her early 30s - didn't catch name. Molto Grazie Gusto!

went here on bank holiday Monday for an early dinner. the restaurant is huge!!! the waiter was very friendly and provided a personal touch by taking an interest in us and making conversation whilst i enjoyed my cocktails!! the steaks were amazing so no complaints with the food and the atmosphere was lively and encouraging especially as it was a typical rainy bank holiday! Would definitely recommend a visit here when going to the Liverpool.
