Our party of 8 visited the Restaurant in its beautiful setting on 25th August 2009. The initial (short notice) booking was dealt with politely & efficiently, we were greeted on arrival, shown promptly to our table, the waitress arrived at just the right time to take our drink then food order - very good so far. The restaurant was busy but not hectic, everything felt relaxed and under control. Starters arrived and were thoroughly enjoyed by all, main courses served, again at the right time with the ever attentive staff checking we were all ok without 'bothering' us at all - really good service!. The sweets arrived and we were encouraged to ' ..enjoy our puds..' by the enthusiastic, friendly and helpful waitress. The bill arrived and again we were not unhappy, not cheap, certainly not expensive just right for the excellent dining experience we all completely enjoyed. We have all done it - wondered where to go for something to eat and not been able to thing of somewhere 'nice'. Don't wonder any more, just nip out to the Riverside Inn - you will NOT be disappointed!!.. Thanks to all!!!.
