I think that the food was fabulous. All of the food was perfectly cook. The restaurant was modern and not to over the top. Also the waiter was nice and friendly with us. Overall I would definitely go there again.

Excellent excellent excellent!....treated to a meal at Sylk this week by my sister and her husband...(belated birthday meal for my twin sister and me)... I can honestly say it was by far the best meal I've had in a long time...and I eat out regularly. We started off with cocktails in the lounge area, then I had the scallops followed by the beef...yum...all cooked to perfection & melt in the mouth delicious...then the cheese & biscuits...wonderful. Relaxing atmosphere, wonderful food, good company...what more could anyone ask! There's also an early bird menu, lunch menu, children's menu and Sunday lunch menu...and it's also a wine bar. Thanks Sis and Bro' for introducing me to my new favourite place to eat.

I had lunch here mid-week. The lunch menu at £6.95 for one course with soft drink seemed to be excellent value. As it was a bit of a celebration we went for the a la carte. There was a very good selection for each of the courses and and both our meals (monkfish and pork fillet) were excellent. Coffee was good also, served in a medium sized mug - excellent for those who bemoan the small cups normally served after meals. Highly recommended.

I am a regular visitor to Sylk and have highly recommended it to everyone. The lunch menu and early bird menu are excellent value. The food is exceptional and the staff are welcoming and very friendly. Highly recommended.

My wife recommended Sylk after having a lunch there with friends and we decided to celebrate my birthday there on a Saturday night.
Upon arriving we were warmly welcomed by a member of staff who directed us to the waiting area and provided us with a menu and wine list. The menu for me had a good selection of starters and main choices and I chose mussels to begin followed by the lamb for my main. Service was excellent throughout the evening, very friendly and approachable.
The food was cooked to perfection and delivered very promptly. I can honestly say I have never tasted lamb as good as at Sylks. To anyone wanting a good quality meal in Macclesfield I would highly suggest trying this place out. I just could not find a fault. 10/10.

We held our wedding breakfast at Sylk. Everything about our experience was absolutely perfect from the planning to the end result. Everything ran smoothly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sylk to anyone. Carl and Derren provided and amazing venue and every guest commented on the standard of the meal. The staff on the day were extremely polite and efficient and Chris (Master of Ceremonies) added a WOW factor! I cannot thank Carl and Derren enough for catering to our every need and making our very special day so perfect.

I have been here a few times now and loved every visit. The lunch menu is great value and the staff are great. The food is outstanding. Nice to book for a special occasion or just a casual lunch. Very highly recommended. One of the best (if not THE best) restaurant in Macclesfield.

I booked Sylk for a dozen friends a family members to celebrate 2 major birthdays. The proprietors are very friendly and accommodating, we even had a personalised menu created at a very reasonable price. Nothing was too much trouble and both the food and service were fantastic.
We re-created a kids party with balloons, games, gifts and made quite a mess, but everyone had a great time. I would recommend Sylk for any type of celebration or just a quiet dinner and we will definitely be back for more.

Visited for Sunday lunch. For those who don't know Macclesfield it is worth looking on a map for this superb restaurant.
The menu was varied with specials available. Brilliant value set course Sunday lunch with a good selection of wines.
The meal, service and surrounding were perfect and have booked to visit again in a couple of weeks.
Would recommend anyone to give the Sylk Restaurant a try you won't be disappointed.

I have to say, a wonderful experience, We had 6 in our party and were cared for the moment we walked through the door. the girls relaxed with a cocktail, boys with a beer..choose our food then shown to our beautifully presented table to enjoy some wonderful freshly cooked food and more wine...We all enjoyed every minute and would recommend to anyone.
