Our food is just like the rest of Holt Lodge - simple, good value, with plenty of local flavour.

Our restaurant is contemporary but welcoming whether you're a resident or a local who just wants a great meal. Plenty do, so booking is not always necessary but is recommended. We've got an A la Carte menu we serve for lunch and dinner, a lighter Bar Menu we serve all day from noon and a daily fish special board.

Then from 12 until 2.30 every lunchtime and from 5p.m. every evening and all day Sunday we serve our highly popular Carvery. For just £7.95 at lunchtime with a starter, or £9.95 per person after 5pm, you can choose from a selection of succulent hand carved meats then add crunchy roast potatoes, fresh seasonal vegetables, light and fluffy Yorkshire puddings and top it all off with our home made gravy. Simply delicious!

Service is not only with a smile but with a friendly warmth and kids are very welcome too, though we do ask that children ensure their parents behave appropriately (and surrender their last roast potato when asked).

Our Bar is full of comfy sofas, perfect for sinking into and enjoying one of our great wines, many of which we offer by the glass, lagers, bitters, a cocktail, a cappuccino or anything else from our well stocked bar. Whether it's for a drink at the end of a working day, a quick coffee and catch up with friends, or to enjoy a peaceful break at the end of a delicious meal, it's an ideal place to relax and revive.
