The Bridge, built circa 1536 as a brewery, has enjoyed a dramatic make over following its purchase by the owners of the Oriel Country hotel and Spa, St Asaph.

It opened its doors on the 4th December 2009 as a family gastro-pub. The refurbishment and layout has been dictated by its 16th century architecture and purpose while the outside remains unchanged, the interior has been brought up-to-date by introducing modern levels of design and comfort.

The building is constructed on three levels, with a cocktail bar and small library with log fire on the ground floor. This leads to the next level housing a pizza oven and eating area and finally to the top level restaurant where, some 400 years ago, beer was brewed.
