Firenze is a contemporary Italian Restaurant and Bar in the centre of picturesque Nantwich, Cheshire. It offers good quality Italian food including pizza, pasta, seafood and meat dishes with an eclectic mix of Italian Wines, Beers and Cocktails.
Set over two floors, the restaurant and bar have been renovated to a high specification - whilst maintaining the building’s original features. The two restaurants mean that Firenze can offer different styles of dining and drinking, depending on your occasion – a more formal affair in the Venetian Marbled upper dining room, or a more relaxed party atmosphere in the downstairs restaurant and bar. Here, you will find our traditional clay pizza oven where your pizza is handmade and stone-baked to perfection!
Our Italian Head Chef has created a menu to cater for all tastes. His award winning pizzas are available throughout the day and in to the evening, whilst his modern interpretation of Italian dishes feature on our lunchtime and evening menus.
Firenze isn’t just about Italian Food though – it also has a stylish bar where our team can offer you expertly mixed cocktails and a wide selection of Italian Wines and Beers. Our enclosed courtyard featuring a traditional Italian gazebo means that in fine weather you can stop for lunch or enjoy a few drinks “alfresco”.
Firenze Bar has been designed to offer a contemporary setting to drink in style! In warmer months, we can even offer alfresco drinking in our enclosed courtyard, complete with Italian potted herbs and traditional Italian Gazebo.

We came on Friday with our 4 kids, and we really enjoyed our meals. The staff were great with our little ones. We will definitely return soon. Just wish we could have stayed and listened to the live music but it was getting quite busy, so next time we wont bring the children!

Yet again a fantastic meal, all six of us had 'team starters' trying each others food off the new menu. I shared the 28oz steak with one of my friends (which was cooked to perfection)so much meat we struggled to eat it all! The pizzas were amazing cooked to order, after we had eaten we went downstairs to the bar and listened to the live music sung by Samantha Murphy, the girls had cocktails the men had another bottle of Ripasso red wine, really good night with a great atmosphere, thoroughly recommended.

Loved Firenze. Fantastic food and brilliant atmosphere. We went on a Thursday and there was a live singer who was sensational, we had a dance after our meal! Bar very busy which added to the atmosphere, we want to go back every Thursday!

We were booked in for 7.15 and we sat upstairs (Friday evening). Few families and kids in at that time. Nice restaurant, good atmosphere and although it seemed to be a quieter night I have seen it busier and good atmosphere - great for a girlie night or party. Would not really class it as ‘Romantic’ but it is nice trendy place for a meal with your fella or friends.

Thank you Firenze for my Jakob's 7th birthday party 32 kids in the end making and eating pizza it was fab and would recommend to everyone. Staff are brill nothing too much trouble can't rate you high enough.

Energetic, Gorgeous! Went on a Tuesday not realising there was an offer on pizzas and pastas, very good value for money. We had two pizzas a glass of wine and a pint of beer for £16. Will definitely be going back again and taking friends, probably on a Tuesday! Service very good too. Thanks.

Me and my wife found the dining experience very good, the staff were very friendly and polite and the food was great. The only reason we scored low on the ambiance section was because we went on a sunday evening as the monday was fully booked so we celebrated the wife's birthday a day earlier, otherwise it was a great restaurant and one i would be happy to recommend.

After an initial mix up with our online booking we did not hold out much hope for this place, however the young front of house and waiting staff pulled it out of the bag. The service we received was excellent all night and the food was first class. We had excellent seats downstairs near the window and the place was really busy generating a warm plesant atmosphere. I would really recommend this place and definitly try the pan roasted chicken on pollenta....

Went to Firenze for a business meeting and lunch - ideal as they have Wi-Fi. Received a warm welcome and enjoyed great service throughout our stay. The food was delicious, full of fresh and crisp flavours. Clearly using very good quality ingredients.
Sounds like a great place to go on the weekends too!

Went to Firenze last Saturday for lunch and had the taleggio cheese, courgette and sundried tomato panini which was delicious! My boyfriend had the 2 courses for £10, trying the salmon & crab fishcakes and then the chicken and pork skewers - both dishes were really tasty and presented lovely and we couldn't believe the value for money as the two courses were huge and just £10!!! I enjoyed it so much that I ended up going back in the evening with my friends for some cocktails and a dance!! Definitely somewhere I will be trying again and recommending to friends and family.

Had a great time at Firenze. The decor is beautiful and it's clear much time has been spent on renovating the building to a high standard. The team were all very friendly and immediately made us feel welcome. We went last night (a Friday) and it was busy with a large party in the downstairs restaurant, some drinkers at the bar and then lots of people eating upstairs. The ambience was just right, and the food was gorgeous! I ordered brocolli and gorgonzola soup and then the Chef special which was a fillet steak wrapped in parma ham with a mushroom sauce - cooked to perfection and just divine! My husband had black tiger prawns to start (which looked fantastic) and a fillet steak with asparagus. He was equally impressed. The portion sizes were quite big so we felt too full to have a dessert but we did have some limoncello sours in the bar area afterwards! We live in Tarporley but will definitely be returning to Firenze - and will be taking friends with us next time! Definitely worth a visit if you like good food and drink in sumptious surroundings!
