We are proud to produce high quality food from seasonal ingredients, using local produce where possible such as sausages from the local butcher in Hope. Our chefs work hard to deliver excellent food for our customers, including a Carvery every Sunday, with all the trimmings and our delicious Full Derbyshire Breakfast.
We have recently been added to The Good Food Guide for our quality food and service. We have two areas serving food; the restaurant in the pub for dinner/lunch or the tea rooms for breakfast, a light bite or afternoon tea.
We are proud of the food we offer in our restaurant or the tea rooms. All our food is freshly produced from local ingredients so you can be sure that we do not serve frozen mass produced meals.
We are very excited about being entered into the The Good Food Guide which highlights the quality of our food and is a wonderful achievement for our chefs and serving staff.
Food Served:
Restaurant: Served noon - 9pm, 7 days a week. Carvery - Sunday all day.
Tea Rooms: Open every day from 8am to 5pm.

We called in while camping just down the road. The food was delicious and well presented. The steak with all the trimmings hit the spot - impossible to name a trimming that was not on the plate!
The service from a young waiter called Alex was brilliant, very attentive and a few jokes too. Had a good chat with the landlord, Rick, who couldn't do enough for us.
Was a perfect night and we will be back very soon... well, after we've recovered from our bike ride! Thanks
