We are fiercely proud to be an independent coffee shop. Based in south Manchester, selling what we believe is the finest quality coffee in the world!

We serve illy coffee, fantastic cakes and pastries alongside some tasty breakfast, brunch and lunch specials like local goats cheese and beetroot salad or potted shrimps with fresh bread.

Our coffee house is larger than it looks from the front! We also have a number of outdoor tables, so you can enjoy the sun and people watch.

We visited this place for lunch today, but we almost didn't bother after reading a very poor review on 'Martin's Money Tips'. We decided to visit anyway,and all I can say is that our experience was poles apart from the other visitor. We had excellent food, the service was pleasant and efficient, and very friendly. The environment is clean, comfy and spacious, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch in pleasant surroundings. We are not local to Hale Barns, but we didn't feel, as the previous reviewer stated, that we were treated any differently to regular locals. We had purchased a Living social voucher, but would return again and would recommend that others visit too.
