"I just wanted to thank you and the staff of Heaton House Farm for making Emily and Jeremy's wedding such a wonderful occasion for us and for all our guests. Diane, you especially were wonderful, calm, unflappable and helpful on the night, and we really want you to know how much we appreciated your presence there.

Without exception everyone was a pleasure to work with; polite, helpful and efficient from the planning stages to the day and night itself. You made the whole event so much easier for us and allowed us to enjoy ourselves to the full.

What a shame about the weather - none of us could have organised that!!! But we know we will have some happy memories and wonderful pictures of the day.

Myself and my partner were staying in the area on a visit to alton towers and we really fancied a chinese. We went with the closest to our hotel and what a good idea that was! At first we were slightly apprehensive because of the buffet, often chinese buffets are set out and the food can look a bit worse for wear. This place is completely different. You order as much as you like for a very reasonable price and all food comes out hot, fresh and with a smile. We genuinely could not find a fault neither with the staff or the food. Highly recommend and would definitely go back if ever in the area again. Well done peaches stunning performance.

Where do we start. Never tried Lebanese food before but think we might be booking a table at Nectar Bistro again very soon and recommending to family and friends. We were able to see the menu online before booking our table and had an idea what we might expect. The flavours were both delightful and delicate and went beyond our expectations. The owner, his lovely wife and staff were very helpful and attentive. Cannot fault our experience of this very well presented restaurant and again the menu was comprehensive and well explained both on the website and in the restaurant menu. Thank you to Nicky for her helpful explanation of our choice of menu and her friendly and attentive manner.

We have been patrons of the POH before it became POH!! We will not go anywhere else! The staff are fantastic and the food is always reliably excellent. We have introduced many friends who are now as avid fans of the POH as we are! HIGHLY recommended.

We were greeted with a lovely manager who managed to squeeze us in on an extremely busy Friday night! The service was fast and pleasant and the food was exquisite and was served in big portions! Would highly recommend risotto di parma and amazing pizza.Would definitely go back! It is also extremely well priced! excellent!!!!!

been to La Maison twice now for the steak / frites offer. Excellent meat perfectly cooked and presented. Great chips. I will go back a.s.a.p. to try other dishes, but feel that the French chef knows exactly what he is doing. wine list to suit everyone. Very French Brasserie type menu.

We went to Pistachio last night with good friends, we each had 3 courses and numerous bottles of house red!
The service was excellent, the staff were very knowledgeable and welcoming.
The food was really excellent. We had a selection of starters between our party of four, each dish was well presented, served at the correct temperature and very tasty. Cannot recommend the crab and chilli fritters highly enough! The main dishes again were very well presented and full of flavour. The food foodies not fussy just wholesome and tasty!
We ordered dessert despite being full to the brim!! We all chose a fantastic combination of vanilla ice cream, espresso and amaretto served with crumbled amaretto biscuits! It was sensational and great way to end a really delicious meal!
The house wine is a merlot and a real steal, definitely recommend it.
A great night, great company and wonderful food and service! Cannot recommend Pistachio more highly!

Have just returned from a fabulous first visit to the Yetis Retreat. We went early evening and were a party of four adults and six children. The chef came out and suggested that he do some mild chicken curry and other bits for the kids and also catered for a nut allergy... This came really quickly and the kids loved all of the curry, chicken wings and pakora. The adults had mixed starters and it was all great although special mention has to go to the chickpeas! We all then had various main courses which were huge, delicately spiced and with beautifully cooked meat or fish - the lamb shank with ledo sauce was enormous! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and we were all made to feel extremely welcome. Will definitely be returning - perhaps without the kids so we can taste some of the excellent looking wine list!

Firstly the waiting staff were completely incompetent and utterly useless.
We ordered a bottle of red wine which they didn't have. They substituted it for a bottle which wasn't on the wine list. When the "waiter" came to the table with replacement wine he spilt it on my wife and then proceeded to skip the tasting and pour into a dirty glass. When we objected to the glass he duly replaced it with a clean one but then continued to pour from the bottle having thrown the full glass away!!! They eventually replaced the bottle.
I ordered a chicken Rogan Josh which arrived and looked really good. Looks are deceiving!! It was unbelievably tasteless! How something that colour can taste so non-descript can only lead me to believe that it is all colouring. The other four dishes weren't that good either and the Naan bread felt like it was three days old !
When I complained to the manager he did nothing other than deliver the bill.
Don't waste your money. The "Forts of Bengal" next door is much better as is "The Sajan" take away across the road.

A favourite in Manchester....if you want fast service, you get it...if you want to linger, do so - although in the evenings after 7 or 8pm it can get VERY busy. Early evening or lunchtime is the perfect time. Best pizzas in Manchester by a country mile...efficient friendly service, great value, house wine OK, and right in the city centre. What more could you want? Great atmosphere....tables well distant from each other, clean and inviting, ...just go !

Enjoyed a very reasonable tasty lunch at Cock O Budworth. Sat in the conservatory over looking a spacious garden to occupy the grandchildren. Made to feel very welcome and will certainly be calling in again.

We visited the restaurant for the first time tonight, the food was excellent and the staff were efficient and friendly. Although the decor could do with a refurbish we will certainly be returning for a meal and would recommend it.

Hi, I had my hen party meal at home on Saturday 4th may 2013. I had such a wonderful experience. We had our own private room. Service by Peter was fantastic. Best service I have had in a very long time. He was there for everyone's needs and remembered everything. He even went outside to look for some guests that had got lost. He was fantastic. The food was also amazing. Would recommend home to anyone. I would certainly go back

My girlfriend and I dined here Saturday night and had such a wonderful experience! We had wonderful service from start to finish. The servers were very personable and knowledgeable about any questions we had felt very cosy and warm. big menu and a lot of choice on all dishes huge in meat ,chicken&veg, we recommend everybody to this experience.
