We have been going to 'FRANCS' for many years, and never had a complaint. The food is first class, the service excellent, atmosphere good. Just one thing would like to see more unusual Vegetarian dishes on the new menus. Otherwise love it.

We have been a couple of times and the food is very good. My partner is half French and in his opinion it is good enough to bring his mother along. The space is creatively sectioned off into nooks and crannies and the staff attentive. We did have to wait a while for some of the dishes but then again it was worth the wait.

We go to Francs regularly and have never had a disappointing meal yet. There is always plenty to chose from and the former bon marche menu was the best value in Altrincham. They also know how to cook vegetables properly which is a bonus for us!

We have been going for many years to Francs and it never lets us down. We usually go early doors however, we wanted to go later and so £17.95 2 course. We share a starter and pud. Everything absolutely delicious. We had Duck and Lamb dish and both cooked to perfection - little pink. Portions not very big but enough for us together with lovely French Bread.

My boyfriend surprised me with lunch at franks on Tuesday...always a real treat. We arrived without booking and we were given a lovely table for two by a window. Service was perfect and with a choice of three menu's to decide from we were served the wine we ordered. we choose to eat from Menu Prix Fixe, 2 Courses £19.95 and it was really good.. it was À la carte food without a doubt. Quiet atmosphere as everybody just back to work after the Christmas holidays but still enough people in to not feel odd... in fact it felt cosy. our meals came out without too much of a wait between courses and each was excellent, the wine good and the bill not outrageous for such splendid food.
We are big fans of Franks but usually save going for special occasions so it was nice to go on a normal lunch service. something I think we should make a habit of ! haha.
Highly recommend you try them.

As a coeliac (allergy to gluten)it can sometimes be tricky eating out,but not at Francs.I wasn't made to feel weird!Gorgeous,melting lamb.Perfectly cooked vegetables.Excellent value for money.

I visited Francs on thursday 16th August and as ever it was absolutely superb! I couldn't have asked for anything more. I chose from the bon marche menu and it was a truley stunning meal. Excellent value, lovely atmosphere, beautifully presented and friendly staff. Ten out of ten! I shall be returning very soon.

Have visited Francs several times now. Most recently was a Thursday night and it was still packed, so booking is essential! Set menues are excellent value and la a la carte menu isn't too bad either. Excellent service. Excellent food. Always a good specials board! Somthing for everyone. Highly recommended. Avg price £25/head.

This place is always busy so always book. The food was lovely and so reasonable on one of the earlybird deals. The portions are a good size and it has a lovely atmosphere, a good cross section of ages in the clientele too.

Booked for 9 and had the set sunday lunch menu, food was lovely and well presented. Food very reasonable priced but drinks can be pricey. Very slow clearing table and was abit cramped. They do EXPECT a 10% service charge and put it on the bill with optional in brackets, I don't believe in this as feel a tip is something personal and should be justified not obligatory so we only left what we thought deserved.

Despite being a Wednesday night the restaurant was busy. The menu had a wide choice and all sounded nice. We all decided to stick to the set menu (£19 for 3 courses). Soup to start was gorgeous. Then had pork which was also really nice - too much for me! Had the Chocolate Tart for deserts which could have been bigger, but was a great way to finish the meal.
Service was a bit slow at times, and took a while for them to offer us drinks. Overall though certainly worth a visit.
