Mere Court was originally built as a private residence in 1903, and has now been lovingly restored into a fine Country House Hotel. Standing in 7 acres of gardens and grounds with private lake in the most desirable part of the Cheshire Countryside, but only 20 minutes from Manchester Airport with easy access to the major motorway networks.
Mere Court offers first class dining facilities in unique surroundings with waterside views, beautiful cuisine and fine wines. Our carefully selected menus provide a wide choice for your special occasion. We would be delighted to personally plan your menu selections for you should you require an alternative menu. Private Dinners, Functions, Weddings and Corporate Hospitality are a speciality.

Our friendly and professional team, are on hand to guarantee that your day will be a truly memorable and enjoyable one for both you and your guests.
Standing in 7 acres of gardens and grounds, with an ornamental lake, we are able to offer truly idyllic surroundings for that perfect day.
CIVIL CEREMONIES -
We are delighted to offer a choice of five rooms in which to hold your wedding Ceremony, the most popular being our Arboreum Restaurant with Chandeliers, Oak beams and a view of the lake.
Business/Corporate
The original coach house, standing in the grounds with a glass atrium, has been transformed into 'state of the art' luxuriously furnished conference suites and designated syndicate rooms. We can accommodate from 2 to 150 delegates within the hotel. All rooms have natural daylight; wired and wireless broadband connections, white boards, track rails, OHP and wall mounted screens.

I got married here 3 weeks ago and cannot praise the venue and staff enough. The food at our wedding breakfast and evening reception was phenomenal. The following day the breakfast was excellent also. We will definitely be visiting the Arboreum Restaurant in future.

I married my wonderful husband Jim at the Mere Court Hotel this April(2009). I can't praise the venue and staff enough, our every need and wish was catered for by their well trained and eager to please members of staff. This hotel is the dream wedding destination.... I know it was a dream for me!

We went to a wedding here last weekend. The food was excellent and good service. Really nice venue, large, interesting bedrooms - full of character. Good service throughout, I would certainly consider this place for my wedding!
