Fat Olive was recommended to me by my son and I decided to go with some friends last Thursday night. I wasn't aware that there was a wine offer on which was a bonus as we got 2 bottles of nice red between the 4 of us which saved quite a bit of money off the bill. My dinner was delicious, I had king prawns to start which were cooked perfectly and then a sirloin steak with a homemade sauce. Us ladies were very happy with the experience and will be returning soon for lunch. Keep it up.

The Fat Olive is always welcoming with friendly service. The food is excellent, every time we go there are different specials, and although I have my personal favourites I like to try different things, because I know they will always be delicious...when we were there, there were 3 different cuts of lamb available on the menu. The toffee apple bread and butter pudding with custard and ice cream was heaven on a plate. And the prices are always very reasonable, given what they are serving, you would expect it to be more expensive.

Having a meal at The Fat Olive in Ormskirk was an extremely pleasent experience. we went on a wednesday evening, and the atmosphere was convivial and relaxing.The food was delicious(and there was plenty of it) the staff were courteous and attentive. All in all it was great value for money, cant wait to go again!!

Me and my partner visit The Fat Olive all the time the offers available are excellent, the service is second to none. My advise is once you've been you won't go anywere else!!! Keep up the good work!

I was visiting family in Parbold last week when my mother recommended your restaurant to dine with my two children. we booked a table for early evening and arrived to a very busy Tuesday night. We were greeted by a young lady and our drinks order taken swiftly. We all ordered off the Tuesday Tenner menu as it was such an attractive price. Our food was excellent and tasty(loved the garlic butter steaks) we didn't have starters so we could have desserts. Homemade sticky toffee pudding was the choice for all except my daughter who opted for the profiteroles. both excellent. Thank you The Fat olive, it is good to see businesses still providing excellent quality food matched with good service in these hard times. well done we shall return.

Just visited The Fat Olive for a late lunch..What a treat! We came in at 2:00 and were given a friendly greeting, suberb service and the food was delicious.I had the Green Vegetable and Pesto Risotto and highly recommend it.

Keep doing what you're doing guys..it's terrific.

Great atmosphere, very friendly, excellent food, very well priced including the wine! Desserts a must. Would definately recommend and return. Lots to choose from.
