To All Our Customers,The Copperfield Restaurant has been in business in Disley for many years and it has been in our ownership for over 11 years.
It is, therefore, with great sadness and difficulty that we, as a family, have come to the decision to close the Restaurant on Saturday 1st October 2011.
We have not reached this decision lightly but over the past 3 years it has become increasingly difficult to continue trading given the fall in numbers eating in the Restaurant and the overall general economic climate.
We, as a family, have found it very hard to come to this decision, especially as Ian has worked in the kitchen for almost as many years as the Restaurant has traded, but we are now looking forward to spending more quality time with our families.
We wish to express a huge thank-you to all our loyal customers who have supported us, especially during the last couple of years which have been particularly difficult.
We wish to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all our staff especially to Chefs David and Danny; to Jen, and all the waitresses who have stood by us.
We hope we have served you well and thank-you for your patronage of the Copperfield.

About Copperfield Restaurant
The Copperfield Restaurant is an 80 seater á la carte restaurant in Disley on the outskirts of Manchester close to the Peak District National Park.
We are open from 6.45pm onwards from Wednesday to Saturday and from 12.00pm for lunch on Sundays.
Due to the popular demand of the special Friday menu, we have now merged the special Friday and table d'hote menus together to make one fantastic menu. The table d'hôte menu is now availble on Wednesday to Friday evenings and changes monthly.
Our specials are changed weekly and the lobster, Beef Wellington, and Chateaubriand can be ordered 24 hours in advance.
Our large dining room gives us the ability to cater for large parties with our party menu, and can open in the daytime for events such as small weddings, wedding anniversaries and corporate meetings.
As all food is cooked to order, we have a large lounge area for pre-dinner drinks; enjoy one of our homemade sweets from the trolley, and after dinner coffee giving you a full dining experience in beautiful relaxing surroundings.
