About Bad Cardigan

Bad Cardigan, based in East Lancashire, consists of Tom Randall and Jack Anwyl (both 21). Formed in 2011, they have taken their original, alternative and edgy folk across the UK and the Atlantic. In recent months Bad Cardigan have enjoyed a successful run of gigs in New York and have performed at The Great British Folk Festival and Celtic Connections. Although only 21, they have grown musically from their experiences supporting The Levellers on a number of occasions at high profile events. Bad Cardigan have also played at Beautiful Days, Lakefest, Cloudspotting, The Bristol Folk Festival and at over 200 other gigs across the UK in the last three years. Their music has been described by an on-line blogger as “a mash up of contemporary folk and Elizabethan hard rock”.
