We had our diamond wedding party at the Toby Heaton Chapel yesterday,the private room was good, as was the food, and the staff were lovely and everyone enjoyed themselves very much. We can cert- ainly recommend it.

Having looked for a suitable place/location to hold a function after my Mother's funeral (guests numbering approx. 30) I decided on The Toby Inn, Heaton Chapel. Discussing the requirements with the Duty Managers (Patrick and Ray) we were advised that all would be fine. Yesterday (25/03/2010) we all arrived - and from the moment of entry to the moment of leaving .. I (and all attending - from all points of UK) commented on the professionalism, the variation of menus offered, the quality and quantity of food and the pleasant service provided by all - especially Martin, the waiter who looked after the party as a whole. Thanks again for your assistance - and we will certainly return .. hopefully not under same circumstances as this time. Thanks again to all.

I took my son and daughter - home from Uni for lunch today, it was a very icy windy day, the Carvery was lovely, the young chef was really helpful as was the server, the roasts were all lovely and succulent,the help yourself veg was light and fresh, with a tasty tangy cranberry sauce that is worth going back again for!, a very yummy lunch at a very reasonable price. Thank you
