About Spread Eagle Hotel

The Spread Eagle is a traditional old pub in the centre of a picturesque village in rural Cheshire.

A popular location for walkers, dog owners and cyclists as the Trans Pennine trail runs through the village.

Our tap room has two TVs, darts, dominos, juke box and the AWP is a very popular room with tradesmen late afternoon and groups of people who are having fun.

Our garden is a sandstone cliff face and in the summer evenings holds the summer heat. Coloured lighting makes this space very conducive for summer evenings and winter nights alike.

I'm a regular visitor to the Spread and am always very impressed with the food and the service. Nick (the manager) and his team are always very friendly and I always enjoy my meals here. The pub is also looking great after its recent refurb! :) PS. I also recommend the quiz on Thurs nights. Great fun!

Great food and great service - we mentioned you in our blog as the check in services could have been better utilised with the free wifi advertised properly
