About Gurkha Grill

The Gurkha Grill in West Didsbury is one of the few restaurants in the north where you can enjoy authentic Nepalese food.

Owners Neil and Raj worked together in Nepal in the 1980s and it's now more than a decade since they opened the Gurkha Grill.

Recently refurbished to a contemporary finish and expanded - now seating over 100 covers!, it's now one of the most popular venues on trendy Burton Road, attracting a varied clientele. The chef is one of Manchester's leading curry chefs and the menu features a familiar range of north Indian classics as well as a wide choice of Nepalese dishes such as Sandheko, a spicy salad. Lobster and game also feature.

The Gurkha Grill can also provide a buffet-style outside catering service.

The Gurkha Grill recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, we would like to thank everyone who has supported us.

Total Score:
We absolutely love the Gurkha Grill, the food is amazing and we recommend it to everyone. The Nepalese cuisine is a welcome change to the norm, and prepared here with aplomb. The staff are so friendly and have a lot of regulars who they know by name. A wonderful place.
