This charming old coaching inn is situation in the beautiful Conwy valley and certainly has the wow factor when you want to take a friend who has never been. While the food is not cheap, it is top quality, with a good variety at lunchtime and choice of the pub or the restaurant. If you love ice cream, then this is the place......home made at the Groes. I have always found the standard to remain high, and even at busy times during the summer, it still manages to operate well. It certainly is a lovely place to go.
