Phanthong is Altrincham's popular Thai restaurant where they serve the great Thai food in the comfortable, fresh surroundings of the light Thai setting.
There is a large public car park at the rear which is free-of-charge after 1800 and all day on Sundays so pretty convenient. They are also just a couple of minutes away from the Metrolink and train station.

We visited Phantong Thai in Altrincham for my birthday meal last night. It is warm and welcoming and the staff charming. Ours was a table for 14. Our booking was confirmed in the afternoon and we were welcomed with a smile and seated immediately in a private setting on plush, comfy chairs. The menus and nibbles were already waiting. Don't you just love a good first impression? Between us we sampled many of the dishes from the menu. The food is fresh and gorgeous and presented beautifully.
I have to mention the great free parking (after 6pm) behind the restaurant too because it makes for a faff free visit. We had such a lovely evening. Thank You

Took our family for a 40 year anniversary everyone loved it ! Freshly made and delicious even grandchildren loved it all . Another great visit .
