Dined here on Friday night and enjoyed my curry very much. Staff were a bit grumpy but on the whole was a good experience.

I dined here last night as I was in search of a curry with a twist and boy, did I get that! The Great Kathmandu is clearly a popular, atmospheric and clean (saw they had 5 stars on recent inspection) restaurant which I have wanted to visit for a long time. I had a Chicken Khorsani dish which was laced with fresh green chillies, ginger and spices along with pilau rice and an Onion Kulcha which was a type of naan bread with a marinated onion filling. The service was first class even though we had maybe 2-3 different waiters and the Kingfisher beer was a nice drink to have as it was not too gassy. If you haven’t been here yet, add it to your list – I can’t wait to return.

The food is great - one of the nicest Indian restaurants we have tried and the portions are really generous. But if your eating in - the tables are very cramped - you don't have alot of room in your seats. But the food is definitely worth it.
