Total Score:
My wife and I attended Abode last night and had a truly fantastic meal! We were onionring competition winners and had won a the Spring taster menu for two with complimentry cocktails. The food was amazing! The best I think I have ever had! The service, wine and cocktails were fantastic too! We will definitely be returning soon!!!

Total Score:
Fantastic food, the grazing dishes were a new concept to me but worked really well. The food is top notch and can rival all other restaurants I have tried. The restuarants its self is nicely away from the hustle and bustle of the street and modern in design. Service was helpful and effiecent. Really enjoyed it.

Total Score:
We went to Abode for my birthday and ordered the taster menu which was £65 without wine or £100 with wine. The service was good and the food was excellent...until the dessert. Couple of observations - they served the cheese course before the dessert which seemed a bit odd, but that's only a minor point. The disappointment was with the dessert which was a Lime Pannacotta. The consistency of a pannacotta should be somewhere in between a creme caramel and a creme brulee but this was like thick, chewy dough. It actually completely stuck to the spoon when you cut into it! It still tasted nice and to be fair, we did actually eat it but mentioned it to the waiter when they collected our plates. I would still go back because everything else was very good and I think this was probably just a one off mistake, but if I'm paying £200 for a meal, I think it's fair to expect the meal to be perfect and the dessert was a disappointment.
