If you are looking for a pleasant fair priced experience then this is the place. Housekeeping was excellent,menu was good and the early bird offers were ok. We ate from the early bird menu and found it a good and fair example of modern anglo-italian cooking. We shall visit again and try the main menu.The house wine was fine but then not many places put their name to a house wine thats not ok these days. The service was just a tad on the slow side but that really depends on how much of a hurry you are in, on another night I might not have noticed it. The staff were pleasant and friendly and all were attentive to the table needs when passing. All in all the most pleasant Italian style food that I have had in the Oldham area to date.I have rated Ancora at 7 out of 10 as I think they are above the average the other 'Italian' dining experiences in the Oldham area.

I have been to ancora three times and it was fab. looking forward to my birthday meal treat, there, next monday!

all good, i try to get in here at least once a month and must say my wife and i enjoy the whole experience, from staff to food, we would give 5 stars and hand on heart, try the fillet steak !!! regards Mick.
