My fiancé and I had the most superb time dining at this delightful Ludlow restaurant. Neither of us had experienced food to this high standard before! The 10 course meal(!) was a gourmet feast, the highlight being the venison that melted in the mouth! The service was attentive and exceptional, nothing was too much trouble and one of the waiters could recount all the cheeses on my cheeseboard not just by name but where they were sourced! Our bedroom was also a beautiful luxurious treat with a huge handmade bed overlooking the garden and river. What made the visit so memorable though was all the delightful extras such as the fresh grounded coffee, biscuits freshly made from the restaurant, hand made toiletries and big fluffy dressing gowns. When we left we were sent on our way with more biscuits and bottles of water!
