About Abbots Restaurant and Bar
Hidden away just outside Cambridge, Abbots Bar & Restaurant is decorated with a sophisticated fusion of dark reds and deep browns, creating a classy atmosphere in which to enjoy excellent cooking. The menu is created by Head chef, Simon Pollendine, who offers dishes that you might not expect to find at an old driving range. Pollendine's cooking combines the best of Mediterranean and British flavours to create intriguing food, such as chicken liver and black truffle parfait with nettle dressing, oven-baked sea trout and raspberry and champagne jelly. Wine-buffs will not be disappointed by the extensive and eclectic wine menu and at around £15 for a main course, the only irons you?ll be reaching for are the ones you eat with.
