Set in the heart of London's film district Chez Victor opened its doors in 1901 and became the place where stars such as Liz Taylor and Robert Redford came to dine. Recently refurbished this light spacious restaurant spread over three floors hopes to attract the stars of the 21st century with its Mediterranean inspired menu including many French and Italian classic such as Sautéed Frog's Legs (£9.95). Mains range from Coq au Vin (£12.95) to Saltibocca (£14). Fish fans can revel in Coquille St Jacques (£17) or Lobster Thermidor (£21) whilst vegetarians' should browse the pasta menu for Linguine with Pesto (£9.50) or Mushroom Risotto (£11). Finish with a retro classic like Crepes Suzette (£6.95). Wines from vineyards in southern France and the Italian Riviera complement their classic menu.
