About The Saracens Head

Saracens Head is situated in the historic village of Halsall, nestling in the beautiful Lancashire countryside right on the banks of the Leeds Liverpool canal. The venue itself is over 100 hundred years old and is renowned throughout the Northwest for its idyllic picture postcard setting.

Having undergone a complete renovation in March 2008, the venue has been transformed into a sumptuous, contemporary environment. We concentrate on sourcing locally grown produce and providing fresh food only seasonal menus.

We are proud to stock wines from the award winning producer & merchants “Boutinot” and an ever changing selection of cask ales from the Finest Cask Scheme.
