A former seventeenth century coaching inn situated at the foot of Helvellyn. The Kings Head offers two unique dining experiences, both offering Traditional English dishes and local specialties created from the finest local produce. In our award winning St Johns restaurant, our Head Chef presents a creative four course seasonal menu, whilst in our recently refurbished Bar Restaurant we serve a range of traditional favourites. Our bar offers local real ales, fine wines and a range of malt whiskies.
