Pesto Cabbage Hall appoints new General Manager
Italian restaurant Pesto Cabbage Hall has appointed Andi Edwards as General Manager to support sustained business growth.
Edwards has over 10 years experience in the hospitality industry,having started his career as a waiter at age 22 and quickly moving through the ranks.He joins the Pesto Cabbage Hall team following three successful years as Deputy Manager at Pesto Widnes.
The move to General Manager at Pesto Cabbage Hall will see Andi use his extensive knowledge of the restaurant sector and the Pesto brand towork with the team to drive continued growth year-on-year.
Speaking on the appointment, Co-owner of Pesto, Sara Edwards said: Andi excelled in his previous role at our Widnes restaurant so we are delighted to give him the opportunity to lead the team at Pesto Cabbage Hall.
With the growing demand from customers to dine at Pesto Cabbage Hall, the addition of Andi as General Manager will ensure diners can continue to enjoy the excellent standards of service they have come to expect and we look forward to welcoming more customers through the door under his leadership.
Andi Edwards adds: Having worked at Pesto Widnes for the past three and a half years, Im looking forward to continuingmy career with Pesto here at Cabbage Hall. As the very first Pesto restaurant, there's a strong experienced team in place and loyal customer following which should hold me in good stead in my new role.
Pesto Cabbage Hall, situated in the picturesque Cheshire village of Tarporley, was the first Pesto site to open in 2006. The Italian restaurant brand now has 10 sites.
Renowned for its Italian small plates or -˜piattini, Pesto boasts over 40 dishes full of big flavours. Giving a true taste of little Italy, dishes include Pizzette picante con salsiccia with spicy Italian sausage and Penne all arrabiatawhich can be made with gluten free spaghetti or penne pasta.
