Peckforton Castle celebrates being awarded 3 AA Rosettes!

Leading Cheshire hotel, wedding, conference and events venue, Peckforton Castle has been awarded their 3rd Rosette for culinary excellence by the AA board.

The long-established Rosette scheme recognises successful cooking at different levels across the UK. Success or failure in achieving Rosettes is based on one or more visits by an AA inspector to a hotel or restaurant.

Peckforton Castle joins an elite 10% of nationwide restaurants that have been bestowed with Three Rosettes and above for their outstanding achievement.

The Rosettes are awarded for a restaurants selection and sympathetic treatment of the highest quality ingredients. Other areas that the Castle’s 1851 Restaurant were judged on include the timing, seasoning and the judgment of flavour combinations plus the intuitive service from staff and a well-chosen wine list.

Chris Naylor, Managing Director of Peckforton Castle:
"This is a fantastic achievement for the Castle and something we have worked towards for the past 2 years. It is a testament to the creativity of our Head Chef Mark Ellis and our wonderful 1851 Restaurant team. We pride ourselves in our love of Cheshire produce and use some of the best the county offers, our excellent relationship with local suppliers allows us to reflect this in our menus.

Head Chef of 1851 Restaurant, Mark Ellis adds:
"The 1851 Restaurant welcomes residents and non residents of the Castle who want to have a sumptuous meal in exquisite surroundings. Gaining a 3rd Rosette is an honour for us and makes us want to continue to strive for even more culinary success in the future."
